Fasting continues on 7th day

Kozhikode: Valsan Thilankeri continues his fasting on 7^th day after he arrested on last Monday. Doctors requested him to take glucose but he was firm in his decision to continue fasting without any medication. He was told reporters that the Police personals arrested him admitted that “the arrest was due to pressure from top level and they know he is innocent”

He was shifted to a separate room yesterday from ward No. 4 due to security reasons. He is facing life threat from Islamic terrorist organizations and Marxist.

In protest against the arrest, Sangh Parivar organisations are observing fasting in Kannur and various district headquarters. Today, BJP activists are fasting in Kozhikode, Sreedharan Pillai BJP state president will address the evening meeting at Kozhikode.

On 13^th of this month, various Hindu organisations will conduct Collecterate  marches in all District Headquarters.
