Fake Currency:One more Muslim youth arrested

Thrissur: Police arrested on Saturday one more person in connection with the seizure of counterfeit currency notes here on Friday, taking the total number of persons held in the case to seven. While six persons were held on Friday, Ebrahim (32), hailing from Valanchery in the Malappuram district, was arrested on Saturday, police said. Six members of the gang were arrested from the town with counterfeit currency notes of Rs 500 denomination. After interrogating one of the accused, police was able to trace Ebrahim.
