Expose the antinational forces: RSS

via HK Correspondent published on December 20, 2006

Changanacherry: Dr. Krishna Gopal, Assam Kshetriya Pracharak of R. S. S, has called upon the right thinking Indian patriots to rise in response to the increasing anti-national insurgencies that erode the foundations of national unity. He was speaking on the ‘Insurgencies and Anti-national activities in the North-East India’ in connection with the Guruji Birth Centenary Celebrations under the auspices of the Vichara Sabha here.

He has come down heavily upon the secessionist forces that have been cancerously hell-bent on seeing the Northeastern states of India alienated from the national mainstream, a dream that unfortunately is becoming almost true. These states sharing 4500 Km boarder with the foreign nations like Bangladesh and China and only 22 Km with India constitute the most vulnerable area with Christian and Islamic terrorists turning it into a hotbed of insurgency and secessionist activities. Long span of British rule combined with Christian proselytizing has resulted in the total alienation, especially of Assam Hilly areas where at present more than 46 insurgent groups are engaged in separatist activities. The idea of ‘Greater Nagaland’ comprising all the Northeastern states that the National Socialist Council of Nagaland is sworn to establish and for which it patronizes the Northeast terrorist outfits, is a brain Child of the USA which wants a new base in the area surrounded by non-Christian nations like Bangladesh, Myanmar, China, etc. Even the CPM Supremo, Prakash Karat himself alleged the Christian base of the Naga terrorism, the US cat’s paw that turned the Northeast area into the most sensitive region in Asia, he said. Added to this is the cross boarder terrorism instigated by the Chinese and Bangladesh trained insurgents who sneak into the Northeastern states under the very nose of the states’ and central administrations.

However, he said, the last ray of hope is still not extinct. The springs of cultural renaissance the early Ahom kings and the saint Sankaradeva had once spearheaded have not completely reached the desert sands. He also praised the various Hindu voluntary institutions and Sangh Parivar organizations like Sevabharathi and Vanavasi Kalyanasram for their laudable role in maintaining the continuity of the national culture in this area and called upon the patriotic forces to unite and expose the agenda of the antinational forces before the world.
