Kodakara (Thrissur): Rejecting outright the path of violence and terror adopted by Marxists, there has been yet again another mass exodus from one of their strongholds. As many as 21 members of Nadipara Harijan Colony who were part of the red brigade have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. The exodus from this ‘party village’ is the result of recent murder of Abhilash of Vasupuram, by Marxist hoodlums.

According to sources, inhabitants of the Harijan Colony are said to be vexed with the spate of violence and murder unleashed by the Marxists. “The murder of Abhilash seemed to be the final nail. These inhabitants of the Harijan colony were being taken for a ride and their loyalty misused solely for the purpose of execution of violence. All this was done with hoax promises of various government facilities. But it was evident that the Marxist clan would never let them scale high, the ladder of development or social status,” said sources.
