The traditional “Pettathullal” at the Erumely Dharma Sastha Temple will be held on Jan 11. The colourful event is held to commemorate the Lord Ayyappa’s mission to eliminate the demon “mahishi” . It attracts hundreds of devotees from different parts of the state.


Meanwhile, the Madurai-based Pzahamithirchola Thirumurugan Bhakthajana Samiti, has organised the 17th annual “vilakkupooja” at the Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham office premises at Pampa last night.
