End row, says Kummanam

PATHANAMTHITTA: VHP state organising secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan has called to put an end to the row over the Devaprasnam held at the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple.

Kummanam Rajasekharan said on Friday that the debate over the prasnam is meaningless and irrelevant since the Travancore Devaswom Board, which conducted the whole affair, had pledged before Lord Ayyappa that it will implement the “pariharakriyas”.

It took the pledge at Sopanam while ccepting “prasnacharth” from Parappangadi Unnikrishna Panicker after the devaprasnam in the presence of the thantri and devotees. he said the TDB should start implementing the pariharakriyas immediately.

On the entry of an actress into the Sreekovil, he said the authorities should initiate steps to clear the doubts of the devotees.
