E.Ahmed behind sabotaging Guruvayur -Tanur Railway line

Malappuram: The Guruvayoor – Tanur railway line which is considered to be economically a very feasible project due to its immense potential for passenger and cargo traffic and a great help to Sree Guruvayoorappan Devotees has now come to a stand stil due to the the pressure from Islamic pressure group .

The Infamous terrorist supporter and Ponnani MP E.Ahmed itself is adamantly against this dream project of thousands of Hindu pilgrims.

 The railway authorities are seriously considering to abandon the project since the Kerala govt has extensively delayed the land acquisition for the project.

 It was a dream project for Kerala’s railway development which connects Edapally to Tanur via Guruvayoor.The idea for this project germinated some 3 decades ago. If realised, the project could cut short the travelling time from Malabar to Thiruvanantapuram  by 2 hours.

Due to the lack of political will from the ruling Govt. and protests by Islamic pressure group headed by the MP E . Ahmmed , the project is on the verge of becoming extinct.

Recently when the union minister of state for railways, R.Velu was in Tirur, he never gave any indications about the status of this project. The Ponnani MP, E.Ahmed who accompanied R.Velu also kept mum about the project. All these facts point out to what was feared might happen, that the project might be hijacked by fundamentalistic  lobby with a  hidden agenda
