Dig at Rahul Gandhi: Kerala Youth Congress Leader Refers to Party VP’s Reforms as ‘Tughlaq-like’

Thiruvananthapuram: In a veiled attack on Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, a state Youth Congress functionary in Kerala on Tuesday dubbed the recent organisational reforms as “Tughlaq-like” and said they had failed to strengthen the party’s youth and campus outfits.
Speaking at a Youth Congress camp held at Neyyar near here, state Youth Congress Vice-President C R Mahesh said “Tughlaq-like” reforms “imposed” on the youth and campus wings of the party had failed to make any impact.
Mahesh also said many decisions concerning the organization were taken without sufficiently consulting experienced leaders.
