Did KGS Group deposit crores towards the party fund during Chennithala’s ‘Kerala Yatra’?

published on May 14, 2013

There are allegations of the ruling Congress having received crores towards the party fund from the architects of Aranmula International Airport project, the KGS Group. It is said that the money has been received during the course of KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala’s much publicized ‘Kerala Yatra’.

Allegations of the money being channelized into the party funds at various stages have also surfaced. According to sources, the KGS Group is prepared to shell out any amount, to get the airport project furthered. All this, in addition to the colossal amount spent in 2003.

Coupled with this, the lack of interest shown by Ramesh Chennithala, when he reached Aranmula and refraining from meeting the people there to listen to their grievances has raised eyebrows.
