Dharna against attack on ABVP students

Kaattakada (TVM): The Sangh Parivar held a Dharna at Kaattakada in protest against the attack on ABVP students at Christian college. Rakesh and Bineesh who were attending class were beaten up by DYFI hooligans. The same day evening a large number of DYFI thugs came to the Kaattakada market and  threw a bomb to scare the local people. They also threw stones at women pilgrims who were offering prayers at Kaattakada Bhadrakali temple. The police instead of arresting the DYFI thugs, took into custody RSS Mandal Saha Karyavahaks Shri Santhosh and Madhu. In protest, the RSS held a Dharna at Kaattakada in which hundreds of Sangh workers participated. The protest march which begins from the Bhadrakali temple junction through the bus-stand via Chanthayirakam and Choondupalaka and back to the temple junction.


 


During the public meeting after the protest march, the Hindu Aikya Vedi state secretary Shri. G.Padma kumar, the rural organisational secretary Shri.Amboori Prabhakaran etc addressed the public.


 


The RSS taluk Karyavahak Shri. R.Udayan presented the welcome speech and Shri. Reji gave the vote of thanks. Police force from stations like Neyyar dam, Balaramapuram, Maaranallore etc are camping at Kaatakada. The DYFI who created panic and unrest held a 12 hour bandh at kaattakada.
