Devious Intentions behind Geelani’s Kerala Visit: BJP

Kerala state BJP has lashed out at the arrival of separatist leader Syyed AbduRehman Geelani in Kerala, stating that the visit has a hidden agenda.Geelani had arrived in the state allegedly under the guise of funds for flood victims in Kashmir.

“The government should conduct an in depth inquiry into Geelani’s visit. There is certainly a cloud of suspicion over Geelani’s claims of collecting funds for those having suffered on account of the floods in Kashmir. Geelani is known for his separatist views which have been known to create a spate of anti-national activities in the country.The government must probe into what the real intentions of collecting funds are,” said state president of BJP, V Muraleedharan.

“The separatist forces have lost their ground in Kashmir following the
spate of floods in Kashmir. And this is the first time that a separatist leader has come to Kerala, seeking funds. Something like this is indeed a matter for concern,” voiced Muraleedharan.
