Thrissur: The meeting held by Yogakshema Sabha to discuss the need of reforms in Temples of Kerala, strongly condemned the recent move by Devswom Minister Sudhagaran to interfere in Temple rituals.

Yogakshema Sabha is also planning to pass a resolution that the minister in charge of Devaswoms – the body that looks after the administration of temples – should be a “devotee of God”.

“We register our strong protest in what the minister has said and the government need not interfere in ritualistic matters of temples in Kerala,” Sreekumar Thamarapalli, president of the Yogakshema Sabha, told reporters here after the meeting.

In the meeting they selected a five-member ‘acharya parishad’ to discuss whether it is time for any changes in the tradition to keep up with the changing times. They have been given three months time to report back the proposals.

The recent controversies were all purposely created by the arrogant Devaswom Minister who took vow to destroy Hinduism and has been in a habit of abusing gods and Religous scholars.

Earlier, Hindu Aikya Vedi leader Kummanam Rajasekharan also demanded the ban of known atheists like Sudhagaran from Temple administration and Temple entry while allowing the believers entry to Temples.

The whole Media, including the National one’s had started showing their interest in Kerala Temples again as they are waiting to beat Hindu when ever and where ever possible. At the same time none of these Medias, even Kerala print and Visual Media fails to report the genuine issues like Temple Looting Bill passed by the Kerala assembly and the transfer of Temple funds to Co- Operative Banks controlled by Marxist party. The complete blackout of Kshetra Raksha Yatra by our Channels and Dailies , shocked the Hindus and many had now started realizing these double standards of the Media
