CPM Practices Untouchability; Members of SC/ ST Denied Permission to a Pathway

published on October 13, 2014

A party that claims practicing equality now shows way of practicing untouchability. The Marxists of North Paravur have made it clear that those belonging to ‘backward classes’ will not be given access to a particular road, frequented by them, hitherto, all in the name of expanding a CPM library.

According to sources, the pathway used by those from these specific communities, now remains closed. The road has been closed, under pretext of expanding a library in the village. All this, in spite of these people having stood with the Marxist party for over half a
decade!  Sources state that the party plans to retaliate if anyone opposes the move.

The incident has created a lasting impact on the party’s true nature, at a time when they seem to be grappling, in order to retain members.
