CPM-CPI differ in policy affairs
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The difference broke out between CPM and CPI, major allies in the ruling LDF government creates trouble to the general administration. The CPI alleged that the CPM is not properly consulting the allies in the policy affairs. Yesterday’s CPI executive council severely criticized CPM on this matter.
Earlier the CPM had taken back the Environmental portfolio which was given to CPI. This incident irritated the CPI leadership. The CPI leadership also expressed their dissatisfaction in the appointment of Prabhat Patnaik as the planning Board Vice Chairman. The split also occurs in the issue related to Rajya Sabha seat.
