CPI (M)’s stone pelting robs vision of a student on the eve of Modi’s oath taking.

Kannur, May 31 : The terror unleashed by CPIM goons rendered nightmare for 16-year-old boy who lost his vision in one eye.
 
The CPI(M) activists hurled stone at a lorry, which was carrying BJP-RSS workers who were celebrating the swearing- in of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre on May 26.

BJP had organized a rally at Chakkarakkal as part of celebrating the Narendra Modi becoming Prime Minister.

Hundreds of BJP workers including youths attended the rally in various vehicles.

Meanwhile, CPI(M) activists hurled stones to them at Thalavil, which resulted in hitting the stone to the left eye of V K Vaishak (16), son of Balakrishnan, who was residing at Kappad near Chakkarakkal.

BJP activists rushed him to a private hospital at Kannur and later took him to an Eye hospital at Ankamali where Doctors conducted a detailed examination of his damaged eye and later informed the boy’s family that nothing could be done.

Chakkarakkal police registered a case against five CPI(M) activists and arrested three youths, Sharoon, Lipin and Arun, while the two others were missing, police said.
