Court stops move to withdraw cases against Home Minister’s son

via HK published on April 26, 2010

Thiruvananthapuram: The judicial first class magistrate squashed the prosecution move to withdraw criminal cases registered against Binish Kodiyeri, the son of Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan.

The cases were lodged when Binish was an SFI activist at Thiruvananthapuram. Government presented its stand through prosecutor R Nageshkumar who put forth the request for the withdrawal of the cases.

Earlier Police submitted a report that Binish is absconding and that is why they cannot arrest him. Such blatant lies to protect the son of Home Minister is nothing but mockery of Democracy and Judiciary.
