Corrupted officers prosper from the Hard earned money of Hindu Devotees
Pathanamthitta: Audit officers in Travancore Devaswom board unearthed Scam of One crore Rupees in conducting renovation works in various Temples under the Board. The Audit report has been submitted to High court. The report does not include expenditure in Sabarimala temple.
From inviting tender itself Board officials and political leaders of ruling front pocketed 55 lakhs Rupees. Rest of the corruption is revealed in buying furnitures to various temples including Thrikkakara Temple, Chengannur Mahadevar Temple, Thiruvananthapuram Hanuman temple etc.
Corrupted Devaswom Board officers and Political leaders are prospering from the part of hard earned income of Hindu Devotees offered in Temples. It is high time the temples be transferred into the hands of Devotees.
