MALAPPURAM: Sticking to his earlier statements, Aryadan Mohammed MLA said here on Monday that those who are opposing terrorism are being isolated in the society.

He reiterated his stand against terrorism and called upon the entire society to fight against it.

He said that only a very small fraction of the society are involved in terrorism and a particular community should not be blamed for such activities of a section of the community.

He also came down heavily on the PDP, NDF and Jama’at-e-Islami for their alleged pro-terrorism stand.

On K P A Majeed’s reply to his remarks against the Muslim League, Aryadan quipped that he is not in a position to comment on such a statement made by a leader of Majeed’s stature.

“Majeed is a leader with crores of people as his fans and I am not qualified enough to reply him,” he said.

“I have never stooped to the level of seeking the support of Jama’at-e-Islami which has a communal agenda. I am ready to declare this openly as I have done in the past,” he said refuting charges that he had sought the help of Jama’at.
