Kochi: The parents of the recent love jihad victim Anuja have sought a comprehensive inquiry on the death of their daughter being a murder. The petition was submitted to the IG of police, with a copy being submitted to state Home Minister, state opposition leader etc. Meanwhile more details and proofs exposing the police hand in letting Khaleem, the accused go free are pouring in.

The petition states clearly that Khaleem had hidden from Anuja the fact that he was a married man with 3 children and there by trapped her into the relationship. “Local police have charged the accused with charges for being responsible for suicide alone, there by paving way for him coming out scot free. He should actually be charged with sexual harassement, or having promised to marry her and there after jilted her,” says the letter.

Khaleem the jihadist, who was Popular Front’s own hired assassin, was introduced to Anuja by Mohammed Wasif, while she was studying in Sacred Heart Thevara College. Wasif, according to sources, is yet another PFI love jihad baiter. He had cleverly concealed the fact that Khaleem was an accused in many cases, while introducing him to Anuja. The Jihadist had masqueraded in front of her with the pseudonym Salim Ali, for a protracted period of time.

“Police however, are not prepared to investigate the role of Wasif either. According to police, the post mortem reports states that “Anuja’s death is a clear instance of suicide”, there by paving no further ways for investigations to move in any other directions. However, the original reports state that “death was due to strangulation”. This can be due to murder too.

Sources state that the letter entails about how Anuja and Khaleem had several arguments when the Jihadi refused to marry her, in spite of having offered promises initially. Following this, Anuja returned to her parents’ home. “However, the next day, Khaleem changed his mind and promised to marry her. But by evening she was found dead,” reports sources.

Police have been very rude regarding the conveying of news of their daughter’s death, says Anuja’s parents. “They took us to the police station to record our statements and made us sit there till midnight 1 am. They then forced us to return to the rented home where Anuja lived and here her body was found. While recording statement, they even refused to take down several important points.
