Communist Brutality- ABVP leader’s condition serious

via Padmakumar published on February 29, 2008

Thrissur:In yet another gory incident, over 15 heavily armed SFI/CITU/DYFI activists stormed into the examination hall of Guruvayur Sree Krishna College on Thursday and hacked the College Union Chairman and ABVP leader Shri Sanoop while he was writing his exam. Other students writing the exam were chased out of the examination hall before they brutally hacked Sanoop all over his head, face and legs.

Shri Sanoop is admitted in the hospital in a critical condition with very serious injuries in his eyes and legs. Doctors attending to him have expressed strong apprehensions about his losing vision owing to the injury. Also, there are multiple fractures in his right leg and arms.

Gaining popularity of ABVP in the campus, which culminated in ABVP capturing the Chairman seat in the college for the first time, has sent shock waves in the SFI circle. They have been threatening him of dare consequences from the very first day he took over as the College Chairman.

ABVP has been growing phenomenally in many of the colleges in the state, which has hitherto been under the clutches of SFI. This has provoked SFI to resort to such violent steps in one college after the other.

This reminds us of another similar incident wherein the Yuva Morcha State Vice-President Shri K.T Jayakrishnan was mercilessly hacked to death by SFI/DYFI activists in a Primary School classroom in front of the young students. Blood splashed all over the terror-struck innocent kids, many of whom have yet not recovered from the mental shock.

It is high time the SFI and other leftist comrades understand that reason for their losing popularity all over the world is due to the inadequacies of their philosophy. They can never cling on to power indefinitely by resorting to these sort of violence.
