Chinese Warships and DYFI

For the first time, two warships of the People’s Liberation Army of china called at Kochi port on Monday morning. Shenzhen, a Luhai-class destroyer, along with Weishanhu, a fleet auxiliary ship, berthed here, announcing the commencement of the India-China Passage Exercise, PASSEX.


The interesting thing to be noted is the silence of DYFI the young outfit of CPM who jumps into protest when any ships comes to Cochin, Recently there was much hullalaboo when US warships came to port few weeks back.
