Cheraman Perumal – Story of Lies

By Paanchajanyaa published on December 24, 2016

The Cheraman Juma Masjid at Kodungallur, glorified by the moslems of Kerala as the most ancient mosque of the world barring Mecca is claimed to be the built by the last of the early chera Kings, Cheraman Perumal, who is considered the as the first follower of Islam by the same sect of people. Recently, this history which started making rounds in the late 20th century after the mosque was renovated in 1974, took a new turn when the former president Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam visited this mosque in 2005 and Prime minister Sri. Narendra Modi gifted a gold plated replica of the mosque to the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in 2016. After these incidents, a Malayalam movie with Mammootty starring as Cheraman was also announced in 2014 though no news about the movie’s commencement came after that. Let us have a detailed analysis over this issue.

The Muslim records claim that the last Cheraman Perumal saw the moon split in the sky from his balcony and consulted about this incident with his astrologers. Later when a group of merchants came to his court, he came to know that Prophet Muhammad was behind this incident and set sail to Mecca after dividing his kingdom and making many of relatives as the rulers of different parts. He met Muhammad at Mecca and converted to islam after which he fell ill and died on his way back at Salalah in Oman, where he was buried and now a dargah has been built in the name of Tajuddin.

Interestingly, if we go a few kilometers away from the mosque we find a very ancient and huge Shiva temple with less number of visitors. The area of that temple is known as Thiruvanchikkulam and is the only temple in Kerala to be sung by the Naayanaars and features in list of the 1008 Shiva temples which are worshipped by the Naayanaars. It is from this place Sundara Murthi Nayanar reached Kailasa after singing about Shiva residing in this temple by the thirupadigam “Thaanenai munpadaithaan” of Thevaaram and was accompanied by the Cherman Perumal who is considered to be the last of the Chera Kings to have ruled the entire Chera kingdom before the division. Various scriptures like that of Sekkizhaar and inscriptions speak about the friendship which existed between Cheraman and Sundarar after their meeting in Thiruvarur. The Cheraman who is also considered to be one of the 63 Naayanaars accompanied Sundarar to Pandya Kingdom and worshipped Shiva at many ancient temples. His famous compositions are Ponvannatthandaadi, Thiruvaroor Mummanikkovai and Thirukailaaya Gnaanaulaa. There are several ancient murals in this temple depicting him going to Kailasa with his friend Sundarar and his army men paying homage to him attaining moksha. It was after this sudden departure of him to Kailasa the Chera kingdom was split until the later Cheras belonging to the Kulasekara dynasty united it again a century later.

Several liberals claim that the Chera King who left to Kailasa from Thiruvanchikkulam with Sundarar to be Rajasekhara Varma of the Kulasekara dynasty. But this claim seems to completely false as Rajasekhara Varma lived in early 9th century, atleast a century after Sundarar’s period and the King was succeeded by his son Sthanu Ravi Varma contradicting the fact that Chera Kingdom was divided after Cheraman’s departure to Kailasa. So this establishes the fact that it was the last King of the early Chera dynasty who accompanied Sundarar.

Coming back to the claim of moslems about the time period, Sundarar lived in 8th century which dates well after Muhammad’s period and the presence of a Chera King in this time contradicts their claim of Tajuddin being the last King of the early Cheras who lived in the time of Muhammad. The Theyyum song which is claimed by the moslems to be speaking about Cheraman’s journey to Mecca speaks about Samoothiri after the split whereas Samoothiri King’s lineage begin only in 12th century after the destruction of Mahodayapuram, the capital of Cheras by the Cholas. Going by this, if we consider the last king of the Kulasekara dynasty as the one going to Mecca, it dates 600 years after Muhammad’s demise making it impossible for the occurrence of the meeting between Chera and Muhammad. Thus this shows that a random mosque existing in a quiet place at South India and a forgotten Chera King have been used by the Muslim historians to hide the bloodbath which occurred in the name of spreading islam in Bharatvarsha.

Both the desert religions are obsessed with the idea of proving that their religion is ancient, but both can’t go beyond their founders, which is just about 2000 years in one case and around 1500 for the other. They want to convert all the Hindus to these two tribal desert faiths, for that all sorts of cock and bull stories are fabricated. One claims that one Thomas came and converted people, long before it spread violently throughout Europe and Russia. But there is no proof for what is being constantly circulated in the media and parroted by the church routinely.
Another group is clinging to the story of Cheraman, making their own concoctions to give an impression that Hindus in Kerala were converted to Islam peacefully. Nothing can be further from the truth. Most of the converts to Islam were the result of Tipu Sultan’s invasions. If one reads the historical accounts, thousands and thousands of Nair warriors were forcibly converted, and their women and children abducted, raped and carried away by the marauders.
There is a concerted attempt by marxists, assorted historians, cinema guys and media guys who will, if paid properly, distort anything and everything. But truth breaks out in strange ways and exposes the fraud news that is being circulated.

A woman was beheaded in Afghanistan’s Sar-e-Pul province for stepping out of her house without a male guardian. The woman’s husband is in Iran and they have no children, officials said. A report in The Independent states that the 30-year-old woman was slain by members of the Taliban for the “infidel act” of going shopping alone on Monday evening. The incident took place in the province’s Lati village, which is under Taliban control. The ultra-conservative Jihadi Islamist group prohibits women from leaving their homes unless accompanied by a close male relative, one among many regressive policies against women.

Provincial governor’s spokesperson Zabiullah Amani said the woman was stabbed and decapitated using the bayonet of an AK-47 by men linked to the Taliban.Never shy of using extreme force against those who transgress their radical interpretation of Islam, the Taliban has denied any involvement in the incident. So far, no arrests have been made.

Restoring fundamental women’s rights was one of the main objectives of the international community in Afghanistan after the collapse of the Taliban regime in 2001. This has proved to be an uphill task, with any advances in Afghan women’s education and work rights being hard-won.However, in recent years there has been an upsurge in violence and discrimination against women, with a 2011 Thomson poll naming Afghanistan as the most dangerous place in the world for women.

These Semitic religions are pure madness. Judaism included. It is built up on some judaic dogma that moslems and christians both laid claim upon. The more you study it the more absurd it becomes. They all brainwash ignorant men and women with threats of punishment and eternal hell. ‘Sin’ is their core concept. The entire religion being built up on guilt. Sheer filth

Jihadism is nothing but a hate ideology. All religions teach love, brotherhood and moving into higher consciousness, except Jihadism, which teaches killing Kafirs, raping their women and creating an Islamic Caliphate through blood, body parts & war against Kafirs. It is no surprise that many countries do not encourage Islam. The recent examples are Japan, China, Australia which do not provide citizenship to Jihadis, Spain where a court case is ongoing to ban Islam and Italy which does not recognize Islam as a peaceful religion and hence not eligible for government grant. As a result of Internet, the evil truth of Islam has been exposed this has resulted in millions of Muslims leaving Islam. 6 million people leave Islam every year and this number does not include reverts to original religion. For more information about the evil religion of Islam please visit the following websites 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) Google Islamic Info for masses. Dr. M.A. Khan, an Indian ex-Muslim has written a wonderful book giving historical evidence of how Islam spread by the power of sword, murder, rape, mutilation etc all over the world. The name of the book is Islamic Jihad: A legacy of forced conversion, imperialism and Slavery. Jihadism is a violent and murderous ideology which has no place in civilized world. If you want peace and love to prevail in the world please spread this message to as many people as possible

MUMBAI: In a major blow to the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), its city unit vice-president Sajid Soopariwala has quit the party and joined the Shiv Sena. Accompanied by Haji Arafat Shaikh, who heads Shiv Sena’s minority wing Maharashtra Shiv Vahtuk Sena, Soopariwala met party president Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree a couple of days ago and formally joined the party.
“I was with IUML for over two years, but didn’t see it moving anywhere. I want to do something for the community and by joining the Shiv Sena, I will be a bridge between the community and the party which controls not just the BMC, but also shares power in the state and at the Centre,” said Soopariwala, a Memon from an affluent family. “After I met Uddhavji, many of my misconceptions about Sena vanished. It is not a communal party and believes in development of every Indian, including Muslims,” he added. Though he denied if he was in the race to get a ticket for the BMC elections, he said Shiv Sena might field at least half a dozen Muslim candidates.

Let us quote K. P. Padnabha Menon, “It is remarkable that Ibn Batuta [1442 CE] makes no reference to the conversion of Cheraman Perumal or of the story of his Mecca pilgrimage”16. Ibn Kurdad Bah [869] and Abu Zaid Ziraf [916] referred in flattering terms to the nature of the commercial relations between Arabia and Malabar [Kerala]. But they did not mention anywhere about any sort of conversion of a Hindu king to Islam17. Let us quote Sulaiman [851], the Arab traveller, “I know not that there is anyone of either nation [China & India] that has embraced Muhammadanism or speaks Arabic”18. It is interesting to see that the legend of the conversion of a Hindu Raja into the Islamic fold crept into the accounts of foreign travelers only after the advent of the Portuguese19. A cautious examination of the data available may be said to lead to the conclusion that there is nothing to illustrate that the last Cheraman Perumal became a convert to Islam.

The rewriting of history by the Jihadis does not end with this Mosque at Crangannoor. They are attributing age-old mystic relations with several of their mosques spread all over the Malabar region.

Here is another REAL story for people of Malappuram. Some of the doctors in Calicut Medical College can use this great example.
MOSUL: My dear family, please forgive me, reads the handwritten letter discarded in the dusty halls of an Islamic State training compound in eastern Mosul. Don’t be sad and don’t wear the black clothes (of mourning). I asked to get married and you did not marry me off. So, by God, I will marry the 72 virgins in paradise”

They were schoolboy Alaa Abd al-Akeedi’s parting words before he set off from the compound to end his life in a suicide bomb attack against Iraqi security forces last year. The letter was written on an Islamic State form marked”Soldiers’ Department, Martyrs’ Brigade and in an envelope addressed to his parents’ home.Akeedi, aged was one of dozens of young recruits who passed through the training facility in the past 2 years as they prepared to wage jihad. In several cases this involved carrying out suicide attacks. His letter never reached his family. It was left behind notes to relatives when Islamic State abandoned the facility. The militants also left a handwritten registry containing the personal details of about 50 recruits. Not all entries had years of birth, and only about a dozen had photographs attached, but many recruits were in their teens or early 20s.
These documents, found by Reuters include some of the first first-hand accounts from ISIS bombers to be made public and offer an insight into the mindset of young recruits prepared to die. Reuters interviewed relatives of three of the fighters including Akeedi to help determine where they came from and why they chose jihad.

BENGALURU: A 22-year-old Muslim girl is being trolled for singing a Hindu devotional song in a Kannada TV channel reality show last week.
The performance of Suhana Sayed, from Shivamogga district’s Sagar taluk, about 360km from Bengaluru, invited comments and criticisms from a Facebook page called Mangalore Muslims for taking part in the reality show. In no time, the post invited countercomments. One member said: “If singing of this girl is wrong, then acting in movies is also wrong. First you oppose them and then talk about this girl.”
As responses gained more bite and traction with each passing hour, Mangalore Muslims deleted its comments from the page.
After listening to a hijab-wearing Suhana at the reality show, judges appreciated her effort and urged the woman to become “a symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity”.
