Centre aid for Kerala to control price rise

NEW DELHI: Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has said that the Centre will extend financial aid to Kerala to help it control the price rise. The Centre gave the assurance in this regard in the meeting held by the chief minister with the Union minister in New Delhi today.

The Union minister clarified that financial help would be given from Price Stabilisation Fund. All states had been asked to forward their suggestions in this connection.

Radha Mohan Singh said the Centre is also considering the suggestion for loosening Coastal Regulation Zone Rules and a final decision will be taken after discussing the matter with states.
