Central Govt Prop for Kadamanitta Padayani Village

Pathanamthitta: The central government has offered all aid and support for the completion of the eternally famed Kadamanitta Padayani village. While announcing the grant, union minister Dr Mahesh Sharma said that the grant has been offered for the third phase of developmental activities.

Features like renovation of the pond, stone-pavillion,decorative gopuram, arena for practice and performance of Kalari etc have neared completion. An approximate of 3.11 crores is required for completion of the third phase of construction. Some of the added features required are a bigger arena for practice, a stage for orchestra, research centre, open theatre, padayani museum, guest house.

The project has been envisaged by Aranmula Vastu Vidya Gurukulam, on three acres of land in Kadamanitta.
