CBI arrested Aboobacker in 3.25 crores worth theft

Olavakkode:CBI arrested ,the prime accused Aboobacker in the theft of Sandal wood, oil and ivory, worth Rs. 3.25 crores,from the Olavakkode strong room of the Forest Department in September 2002.
CBI arrested him from Kochi.Aboobacker is the Director of Premier perfumary works in Palakkad.This sensational case was handed over to CBI, as Kerala police and Crime Branch was not able to make any progress in the investigation.Islamic Terrorists are involved in Sandalwood smuggling in the area.
