Caught while heading for fourth marriage
KOCHI: The police on Wednesday arrested a person on charges of fraudulent marriage. The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Ali, 46, a native of Valanchery in Malappuram district.
According to the police, Mohammed Ali who has married thrice, was making arrangements for the fourth marriage. He had arranged all the three marriages by forging the seal and letter pads of various Mahallus.
He was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by his third wife, a native of Palluruthy, whom he married in August 2006. His attempt for the fourth marriage was revealed when his wife accidentally noticed a forged letter prepared for the fourth marriage.
