BSF Jawan from Kayamkulam died while safegaurding Nation’s Border

Kayamkulam: A BSF jawan died in Bangladesh Rifles firing at Mirik-Sultanpur in West Bengal on Ind- Bangladesh border . The victim was identified as Sudarshan of the123 battalion. Sudarsan (48), native of Kayamkulam was safegaurding the borders from enemy for past 20 years.



 


Tension prevails along the Indo Bangladesh border in Malda district after the incident and all border-out posts including Mahedipur in English Bazaar, have been alerted. Border guards from both sides are still keeping watch over each other’s movement with weapons on the ready.


 


The body of Sudharshan (48), would be brought to his native Kandalour Theku in Kayamkulam district of Kerala on Friday.





 


Sudarsan is survived by his wife Sunitha, Daughter-Chinju and Son Sharan.
