Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala BJP president PK Krishnandas on Thursday staged a sit-in at the Tirur police station in Malappuram district demanding release of the RSS-BJP workers who had been in custody for the last 18 days. A statement by party general secretary MT Ramesh alleged that the activists were undergoing brutal torture at the police station.


 


Though three of the activists were released following the intervention of the Human Rights Commission, there were arrested again, the statement said. The BJP would organise protest demonstrations across Kerala demanding action against policemen responsible for the torture, the statement added
