Brutal Police Torture & Forced Confession to Sabotage Murder Case Against CPIM Leaders
Kannur: Fazal murder accused Subeesh has alleged that police used third rate torture methods to force him to confess to the murder of NDF member Fasal.
In a press conference held in Kannur, Subeesh rejected his confessions, stating that they were forced out of him by police after battering him. He has alleged third rate torture methods, including being stomped on the stomach.
Finding his petition genuine, the Court has directed medical attention for Subeesh. A petition has been submitted before Koothuparambu Magistrate Court regarding the same, following which a case was filed by the Magistrate Court against the police officers who have been accused of manhandling Subeesh.
Subeesh has vividly narrated the third degree torture methods he was subject to, in the petition filed before Court on 19 November 2016. A copy of the same, accessed by a prominent news channel elucidates how the team headed by DySP Sadanandan and Prince Abraham battered him continuously for three days, to get him to confess to the murder. “Ground chili was smeared on the posterior, water squirted into the eyes to prevent him from sleeping†etc are some of the torture methods detailed. The report says how he was “battered on the lower abdomen resulting in fluid accumulation following which bowel movements were rendered difficult.â€
