Brutal attack on Bajrangdal leader, SDPI terrorist under arrest
One person has been arrested in connection with the case of stabbing of Bajrang Dal Ranjith (28), District Co-ordinator of Punchirayil, Thottakkara, Mayilumpuram. The person who has been arrested has been identified as Pilathara Puthen Peediyekkal Rafeeq (35) hailing from Chunangad. The arrest has been made by the group headed by CKA Viswanath, hailing from Ottappalam.

Ranjith was stabbed on 15 April, 2012 in the afternoon, inside a building near the town bus stand. Police have registered a case against 5 persons in total. They have now procured information regarding the whereabouts of 2 others who are involved in this case.
