Bomb planted in Govt. Hospital, Kozhikode

Kozhikode:Even before recovering from the shock of Kozhikode bombings, Today kerala police recovered Highly Volatile explosive materials and bombs from Govt. General Hospital, Beach, Calicut.


The bomb were planted at Female ward 1 of Beach Hospital. The bombs were recovered in a Polythene bag of a Textile shop named ‘Fashion Girl” at Areacode of Malappuram District.


Previously also many explosives  were recovered from Areacode and  near by areas.The Kozhikode bomb explosion investigations were sabotaged by Sitting MLA of Beypore who belongs to Communist party and  Muslim League leaders, when police arrested NDF activists.The Beypore bombing investigations has recently transferred to CBI, Thanks to continued  protest by  BJP.


The soft approach  of  Marxist party towards these extremist elements and ruling Muslim  League is considered to be an important factor behind the recent growth of Terrorism in the state
