BMS to hold protest on May 09

Bharathiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) will organise a protest day in the State on May 09, as part of the country-wide agitation in support of its demand for withdrawal of Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Bill. 


BMS president, Mr M S Karunakaran said today at a press conference here that the bill, proposed to be submitted in the next Parliament session, was anti-labour. BMS, he said, will organise mass dharna on May 09 in front of all Central Government offices in the state. 


He said that as per the new pension scheme, the pension fund managing companies had the authority to invest the pension amount in stock markets and other non-secure institutions which would ultimately deprive about two crore employees of their hard earned money
