BJP Worker Attacked in Kannur

A BJP worker has been attacked in Kannur on Tuesday, again by suspected members of the Marxist family. The attack was unleashed on PK Ramesh of Panoor. Ramesh owns a hotel, where the miscreants barged in and launched the attack. Ramesh, who suffered serious injuries, has been admitted to a local hospital.

The local BJP unit has called for a hartal in the area, following the attack. A case has been registered against the perpetrators. Ramesh’s hotel was the subject of a previous attack, a few months back by unknown assailants.
