BJP to strengthen NDA in Kerala

Close on the heels of the political developments in Karnataka the Kerala unit of the BJP would take concerted efforts to strengthen the National Democrativ Alliance (NDA) in the state, according to Mr P S Sreedharan Pillai, President of the party.


He said that Prof Jayalakshmi had been assigned the task of formulating an action plan for strengthening the NDA in the state. According to him the rank and file of the party is happy with the party’s decision to join the coalition government in Karnataka with the Janata Dal (S) rebel group headed by Mr H D Kumaraswamy.


The Party’s state committee, scheduled to meet in Ambalapuzha on Feb 12 and 13 would draw up strategies for the coming assembly elections. Senior national leaders would attend the committee meeting, he added.
