Life imprisonment for six CPM men in Chandran murder
THALASSERY: The Fast Track Court sentenced six CPM activists to life imprisonment in connection with the murder of BJP activist Vattipram C K Chandran. Out of the Rs 120,000 imposed as fine, Rs 100,000 should be given to Chandran’s wife and children. Judge A A Vijayan pronounced the verdict today. Those sentenced to life imprisonment are U K Shaji (28), Rajeevan (36), Ashokan (29), Sudheesh (24), Sreedharan (52) and Ashokan.
