BJP leader escapes unhurt in shooting

The BJP Palakkad Mandalam President, Mr V Vishnudevan, has escaped unhurt in an alleged assassination attempt by unidentified persons.


Mr Vishnudevan, who is running a Ration Depot at Kallepully, was shot at by some unidentified persons and fortunately it missed the target, according to reports.


Police has taken the bullet in their custody and the Malampuzha police has started investigations.


Political rivalry and his opposition to the “Goonda Collection” is said to be the reasons for such an attack.
