BJP H.Q attacked

Thruvanamthapuram: Unidentified groups today stormed the Headquarter of Bharateeya Janata Party office in Thruvanamthapuram. The group of more than 10 criminals entered the office and damaged office furniture. The incident took place today afternoon.


 


The BJP state spokesman B.K Sekhar said that the attack was well planned and rejected  media reports that ‘RSS is behind the attack’. He said those arrested were anti-social elements and did not belong to the party or the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.


 


BJP state President P.S. Sridharan Pillai demanded judicial enquiry in to the attack.


 


Police have arrested 16 people in this connection.
