BJP energize members for the general election

The two-day meeting of the BJP National Organizing Secretary, Mr Sanjay Joshi with the party’s state office bearers here has concluded with the decision that all the leaders and members of the party work collectively with unity and goal directed strategies.


Looking at the ensuing elections to the state assembly, which is about six months away, the party leaders have agreed to work unitedly to establish its position as a viable and strong political party in Kerala.


The state office bearers would undertake “yathras at district, mandalam and panchayat levels” to boost the image of the party, Mr P N Velayudhan, State Vice-President of the party told HK. To chalk out an action plan the state office bearers of the party would meet on 18/19 Dec and thereafter a workers’ meet would be conducted.


Already, it has been decided to hold conventions in five mandalams in Idukki district this month, he said. He said that the RSS workers would actively participate in the party’s efforts to strengthen its base at the grass-root level, especially among the economically and socially backward class of people.


Mr Joshi was here to hold discussions with both the BJP leaders and the RSS. The meeting was held to energize party faithful and workers to organize, and educate citizens of kerala on the dangerous policies of the UDF and the Communist party. The meeting reiterated that BJP is the only viable alternative for Keralites from the corrupt and anti-national policies of ruling alliance.
