BJP demands CBI inquiry in to allotment of ration depots

The BJP President, Mr P S Sreedharan Pillai today demanded that all the allotments of ration depots by the Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Mr Adoor Prakash, should be inquired into by the CBI.
Speaking to media-persons, he alleged that there was corruption in allotting the depots as lakhs of rupees were collected towards party fund. If investigated the roots of corruption in this issue could be found in both the government and the Congress party, he alleged.
