 BJP calls for dismissal of Forest, Revenue Ministers from Cabinet

The state general secretary of the BJP, M.T.Ramesh has called upon the Chief Minister to dismiss the revenue minister K.P.Rajendran and forest minister Benoy Viswam from the cabinet owing to the irresponsible and contradictory statements they are making regarding the Tata land grabbing issue in Munnar. The BJP leader was addressing the media in a press conference at the party state head quarters Mararji bhavan here in Thiruvananthapuram.



The BJP leader said that the Chief Minister’s claim of having annexed the illegal land occupied by Tata is accepted by the BJP but both the revenue minister and the forest minister are creating confusion in the minds of the people by making contradictory statements. He also added that as the statement of the revenue minister in the state assembly is totally contradictory of what the Chief Minister has said , Achuthanandan should take the lead in dismissing the minister from the council of ministers .

He also said that the revenue minister has stopped the action against illegal encroachers in other parts of the state and said that the government is moving in a directionless manner. The BJP leader said that the party will be conducting survey in all the districts to take stock of the government land encroached upon by the people in power and the high and the mighty.

M.T.Ramesh said that the CPI-M state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has turned into a Stalin and his utterances and actions against those who criticize him gives the feeling that he is a Stalinist in attitude.

The BJP leader also alleged that the CPI-M is having close nexus with all the mafia and that in recent days the association has strengthened .

Ramesh also said to expose the CPI-M, Mafia links the BJP would undertake programmes and public meetings through out the state from 13th July to 19th July.

The BJP leader also said that BJP would conduct dharna and agitations in district centers on July 20th
