BJP campaign forces survey teams to alter predictions

via R.V. Nair published on April 11, 2011

As the election campaign in 140 constituencies in Kerala came to end by yesterday evening, both LDF and UDP are disturbed by various survey reports which observed that LDF has clear chances in 45 constituencies while the UDF have in 50 constituencies. This uncertain situation cropped up against all previous predictions resulted from the unusual success of BJP campaign in the rest of the constituencies.

This time the BJP presented a totally different systematic campaign. Visits of the BJP national leaders have been successful. Presence of Sushama Swaraj and her oratory power stunned the opposition parties and her crowd pulling capacity has been of great impact throughout the state. Her press meetings and visits to leaders of other religions also have been successful. The party and its leaders have been successful in unveiling to the public the folly of both LDF and UDF governance in the state and the kind of stalemate when compared with adjacent Karnataka or Tamil Nadu and of course the model state Gujarat.

Through the print and electronic media, messages  have been sent out to the youth in the state to realize how the minority appeasement policies  hither to adopted by both UDF and LDF have pushed them back from higher studies, admission to professional courses, job opportunities and the promotion for those very few who are in employment.

Many religious as well as social groups have come forward declaring their support for O.Rajagopal at Nemon, B.K.Sekhar at Trivandrum and P.K.Krishna Das at Kattakkada. Mr.B.K.Sekhar who commands the respect of even his opponents has been hospitalized and Mr.Kummanam Rajasekharan  has been leading the campaign for him at Trivandrum.

It is clear that during the next 48 hours both LDF and UDF shall unleash the worst tricks in their stock to negate the leverage that BJP has gained through a systematic campaign. Every Hindu in the state must shed their hesitation and boldly come forward to vote for BJP and see what difference it could bring to the state and of course for the next generation. HK and its readers must realize the importance of the few hours left and see that every one is able to motivate at least two others.
