via Satish .T published on May 21, 2007

KOCHI : Sri Prameshwarji said that we are in need of a generation which practise Bharathiya philosophy in their lives. He was delivering the key note address to the gathering in connection with Balagokulam Annual State Meet held in Aluva. Bharath exists on the philosophy with a strong base. Naturally, we do not have to worry much about her existence. Now, what we see are the confluence and confrontation of civilizations. On one side we see Bharathiya culture based on thyaga and on the other hand we see western culture based on bhoga. Bharath can save the world through her thyaga-based culture.

We have to save the mankind from the grip of consumerism. In this regard, the whole world looks for Bharath. Changes are inevitable; no one can keep aloof from changes. Which is the right direction is the crux of the point. Whether the change is for good or bad should be evaluated by us.

Poojaniya Poornamruthananda Puri Swamiji, Global Gen. Secy of Amruthanandamayi Mat inaugurated the meet. Swamiji said that Bharath has got inner strength to face any sorts of eventuality. People are afraid that Hinduism is in the verge disaster due to conversions. But, in western countries Hinduism spreads like any thing.
