Better late than never

via HK published on April 2, 2007

A comparison between an 85 year old organisation involved in social service and a 2 year old organisation involved in religious terrorism is probably one of the biggest folly in recent years after the American invasion of Iraq on false charges of weapons of mass destruction.

In view of the recent violence across the state, the state government has launched a vigilance investigation targeting the NDF. Surprisingly they have also included the RSS into this list. Either the leftist’s government has done this on purpose or it has conveniently over looked the activities of the Sangh Parivar in Kerala.

The attack of the NDF on a police station has send jitters amongst the government officials. In order to cover up the complexity of the Marxist party’s involvement with the NDF they also want to pull in the RSS so that the minorities don’t feel targeted. The emergence of the Terrorist Front in campus against the SFI has rung alarm bells in the minds of senior Left members.

The party has now realised its folly of encouraging the activities of the NDF and ensuring its support in the recently held elections. The NDF is now attacking Marxist cadre and the SFI instead. The NDF has in them the invadors blood and this something they get in their genes. Better late than never for the leftists to realise this and take corrective measures. Instead of targeting Hindu organisations for a crime done by the NDF, the left government needs to look into the prospect of taking lessons from the Hindu organisations that have been fighting this menace for many years now.
