Bangladeshi jihadi menace in Kerala

via HK published on November 22, 2008

Aluva: Kerala Intelligence agency, arrested 9 Bangladeshi infiltrators from Aluva, based on central intelligence warning. Most of them pose themselves as coming from West Bengal but on interrogation confirmed that they are from Bangladesh.

Aluva is the hot bed of Jihadi terrorism in Kerala and was in news for past few years in connection with terrorist attacks and arrest of deadly terrorists based in Aluva. The Bangladeshi infiltrators are in constant touch with Jihadi organisations in Kerala and intelligence suspect they act as middlemen between Bangladeshi Jihadi organisations and those based in Kerala.

Bangladeshi infiltration has grown as one of the biggest menaces in Northern India and as monitoring has been strengthened following recent blasts most of them migrated to Kerala which is relatively safer for their nefarious activities.
