Azhakodi agitations move on to Second Phase
Kozhikode: The 7 day Sathyagraha infront of Azhakodi Devi Mandiram comes to an end yesterday. The Sathyagraha under Azhakodi Temple Liberation movement started on June 13th helped to foster support from devotees from all over the district against the forceful take over.
In the Concluding meeting yesterday, Hindu Aikya Vedi State secretary P.K.Sahadevan declared the second phase of agitation.Second Phase started today with Githa Parayanam under the Mathru Samithi for next 10 days. From 11th day fasting protest will start. Agitations in front of HR&CE Commissioner’s office will also take place. A Massive namajapa ghoshayatra from various temples to Azhakodi will be conducted in the end.
Temple Liberation movement leader I.P.Menon presided over the concluding function. RSS Vibagh Karyavahak K.P.Radhakrishnan, P. Jijendran and Gurudas spoke. Hindu society had undergone various challenges in the past and has the history of surviving all those threats, told K.P.Radhakrisshnan.
The participation of women devotees and their commitment to protect the Dharma is witnessed in Azhakodi and Guruvayur agitations. The 10 days Githa Parayanam will help the devotees to follow the great teachings embedded in it, to fight for Adarma.
The revitalization of Hindu movements all over the state and the formation of Hindu Parliament had rekindled the hopes of Devotees over here.
