Ayyappa Seva Sangham’s camp at Karimala

SABARAIMALA: The Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham has launched its full-fledged camps at the Karimala and Valiyanavattam for the pilgrims who opt the traditional forest route of Azhutha-Karimala-Pampa for darsan.

The sangham offers free food, medicated water, resting place and basic medical facilities at the Karimala camp, sangham general secretary N. Sreenivasan said.

Free food will be available between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. At Valiyanavattam, annadanam, medicated water and resting place are offered, Sreenivasan said.

The sangham’s camp at Pulmedu offers free food, medicated water and resting place.

The sangham general secretary welcomed the suggestion of the Chief Minister to pay of Rs 10 lakh for the dependents of the pilgrims who die at the Sannidhanam.

Sreenivasan said the relief package should cover the pilgrims who die in the accidents on their journey to Sabarimala and back.
