Attack on Jyothir Yatra, two Swayamsevaks injured, hartal in Chathannur

KOLLAM: In protest against the alleged attack on the `jyothir yatra’ heralding the birth anniversary of Golwalkar at Miyyannur near here on Friday evening, the Hindu organisations have called for a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the Chathannur assembly constituency. Two Swayamsevaks taking part in the Yatra were hacked. Their condition was stated to be critical. They have been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. The injured Swayamsevaks were identified as Manoj and Sudarshanan.
