Asna case :Hindu activists File appeals in HC

Kannur: FormerState BJP president Advocate PS Sreedharan Pillai told that all the thirteen Hindu activists implicated in Asna bomb case would go for appeal as they were innocent and the charge was imposed on them falsely. BJPState general secretary MT Ramesh also said that they had become victims of conspiracies by political opponents. The BJP leaders told that its activists had nothing to do with it but the Congress workers, who had smuggled the ballot box, had hurled the bomb into the house in an attempt to divert attention.
 The incident took place in the background of the polling in elections to the three-tier panchayats on that day.
