Armed Jihadi training camps in Kozhikode – Images

published on October 6, 2009

There are several Jihadi training camps active in entire Kerala.

See the snaps attached of one place, which is located in Parappally, a costal area of Quilandy Taluk of Kozhikode (calicut) District.

I have taken these in my mobile camera. Parappally is a complete muslim dominated area and there was one famous Devi temple on the rock which has been converted as Mosque by Tippu Sultan,  Here they now have armed training with Guns and lethal weapons. It is a perfect hideout for them to practice Mountaineering as well.

They bring weapons through Sea.  Several suspicious boats were coming and going in the evenings and late nights.  We met afew Hindi & Urdu speaking people which they wore dresses like Pakistani/Afganinstani, just got down from one Boat.  We just had a friendly talk with them and one of them told ” We just came in Calicut to cut Buffallo’s” and quickly walked away from us aimed to small tile roofed house which is extremely inside the rocks.

We saw several trenches & bunkers made, as military people makes, with Sacks filled with Sand.   We were really wondering that for some time, we felt we are not standing in Kerala.  After ten fifteen minutes another one boat came and they unloaded some boxes and baggages and walked towards that small house.

Later some of them asked us to leave from there and ordered us not to stand late night.    People can be easily reached to Parappally through Sea with the identity of near by Light house located in Tikkodi, just few miles away from this place.

If Police and intelligence agencies won’t extend their vigil to Muslim dominated beaches in Malabar – Kerala will give birth to more and more Anti national Jihadis.
