Anuja – Latest victim of Love Jihad

Kochi: They tonsured her, tortured her and killed her- Love Jihad has struck again in Kerala. The latest victim of Islamist agenda of breaking Indian society, with their tool of Love Jihad is 23 year old Anuja, daughter of Ashok Kumar and Shailaja, residents of Kalamassery. And the Romeo behind the heinous incident is Khaleem, a native of Guruvayur and Popular Front activist who happens to be a skilled baiter of Love Jihad. Khaleem is also an accused in the murder of a BJP leader.

Sources state that Anuja was found hanging with her head tonsured and her hair lying strewn on the ground. “There were deep bruise marks on her face and other parts of the body. There are also evidences in the room pointing to a strong tussle.” With suspicions over Khaleem galore, being a hard core criminal involved in several cases, police have taken him into custody. Police sources say that “Khaleem is one of the chief accused in the murder of BJP leader Manikandhan. He is also accused in the murder of Subin, a Marxist leader and Shihab, a Congress leader. He is prime accused in a total of 5 murder cases. He has also served a prison term for being involved in Gunda activities.”

Khaleem, a previously married man with three children, had ensnared Anuja via internet chatting and professed love, following which he promised to marry her. The two shared a live in relationship and stayed in a rented house in Kalamassery for over two months. Anuja is a PG student of Maharajas College, Ernakulam.

Sources have also indicated that Khaleem used to frequent Ernakulam under the pretext of being involved in farming activities in Attappadi. It has also been said that Anuja’s parents have alleged that their daughter was murdered by Khaleem. According to them, the two met via Facebook. They are said to have opposed the relationship initially. But with Anuja taking a stubborn stand, they were forced to relent. A complaint has been filed by them, with regard to the same.  

Police sources state that Khaleem professed love to Anuja “concealing the fact that he was married. Also he had not wedded Anuja legally.” Locals also state that the “death seemed unnatural, with ample suspicion lurking.”
